Wild Wings 9 Hole
Par 36
Blue | 3157 yards | 70.2/127 |
White | 2955 yards | 67.8/123 |
Gold | 2632 Yards | 69.6/119 (Womens) |
Hole 1 Par 4
Blue | 329 yards |
White | 313 yards |
Gold | 279 Yards |
The split fairway on the first hole makes a decision necessary on your drive. Play left of the tree to get a good approach angle into the green, play right and bring the greenside bunker into play. Be careful on your approach shot and keep the ball below the hole or this fast undulating green is hard to two putt from above the pin.
Hole 2 Par 3
Blue | 129 yards |
White | 127 yards |
Gold | 86 Yards |
A medium length par 3 with one of the toughest greens on the course. Try to keep your tee shot in the middle of the green, almost all the putts from here are uphill. Be careful not to hit too much club, over this green is a tough par
Hole 3 Par 4
Blue | 366 yards |
White | 346 yards |
Gold | 326 Yards |
Play down the left side of the fairway to set up a good approach angle to this well protected green. Watch out for the fairway bunker and the OB that is definitely in play on the left side. Don’t get too cute with a front pin position, the front of the green slopes front to back.
Hole 4 Par 5
Blue | 546 yards |
White | 515 yards |
Gold | 479 Yards |
A long straight par 5 with two lakes to the right of the fairway and O.B. to the left. This hole requires two good shots to be in position for your approach. This well protected green wraps around the deepest bunker on the course and hills and undulations make it hard to get the ball close to the hole.
Hole 5 Par 4
Blue | 372 yards |
White | 352 yards |
Gold | 330 Yards |
The bunker in the middle of the fairway make players make a decision off the tee. But it’s the second shot to the fast sloping green that will determine your score. Don’t go long; very few pars are made from over this green.
Hole 6 Par 5
Blue | 520 yards |
White | 484 yards |
Gold | 453 Yards |
Our shortest Par 5, this hole can be reached in two by the longer hitters, but watch out for the lake to the right of the green. If you’re not attempting to reach, it is better to come into this green from the right to get the best angle and highest probability of getting the ball close to hole.
Hole 7 Par 3
Blue | 183 yards |
White | 143 yards |
Gold | 113 Yards |
Wild Wings signature hole and longest par 3. Best play is to left center of green, this takes the right bunkers out of play. Try not to go long left either, a large steep hill protects the left part of this green and makes it very hard to make par from this position.
Hole 8 Par 5
Blue | 547 yards |
White | 547 yards |
Gold | 462 Yards |
A tough par 5 with water protecting the left side of the hole and bunkers protecting the right. The green is long and thin with a lake to the left and a steep slope from the right. Short right of the green is the place to approach from. This spot gives you the best chance to get into birdie position.
Hole 9 Par 3
Blue | 155 yards |
White | 128 yards |
Gold | 104 Yards |
Don’t be deceived by the length, this hole is responsible for a lot of big #’s. With water to the right and a deep penal bunker to the left, there is not a lot of room for error. Even if you hit the green the trouble is far from over, with big slopes and subtle breaks this green is responsible for more than its share of three putts.
